Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quotation engine only requires gender, birth date, personal health evaluation, tobacco status, desired amount, and coverage years. This information generates carrier rates. Personal details like name, address, or medical history are only requested upon applying.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These figures are the rates each carrier provides for your chosen health classification. Your final premium is set by the underwriting process, which may confirm, upgrade, or adjust your classification. All material on this website is informational and not a guarantee of price or approval.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, then the system generates your application from your selected quote, which you open in a secure portal. You can exit and return anytime. Electronic signatures complete the process. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California agent (License 0B75129), manages your application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the specific carrier, the amount you're seeking, and your health profile. Many carriers now use immediate underwriting for qualified applicants without medical exams. Each quotation displays whether an exam is needed, possibly needed, or not expected.
Is a longer term better?
The coverage period should align with the years your income is crucial to your household. When a mortgage and children create obligations, a 20 or 30-year term matches those commitments. Longer periods mean higher monthly payments but secure the rate for a longer duration. The calculator shows prices across 10 through 30-year terms.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote system doesn't retain contact information. We don't share or monetize visitor data, and measurement operates without tracking cookies. Details on what we collect and protections applied are explained in our privacy terms.
